Every person loves to do something creative. So there is nothing better than making your own candles. Though candle making is a rewarding way to enjoy your rainy days or a nice way to spend time but while its making, sometimes people goes through various candle making problems.
The common problem arises in material used in candle making, i.e, paraffin wax. It is a highly malleable product, gets easily melted with a light heat and when it cools down it becomes too hard. Due to this characteristic, getting a straight wick is a difficult task while making candle. Therefore, you will rarely be getting a straight flame.
To give the correct shape to the candle, the wax has to be cooled down at an optimum temperature. Therefore, air temperature of the atmosphere should be right for the making of the candle. The wax will not cool properly without the right air temperature and that becomes harder to make product perfectly. If there is a hole created in the centre of candle, then fills up the hole with the extra wax by drilling down the candle and thus prevent wick from drowning while burning.
There are many things that affect candle making. If the wax is too cold, it becomes too hard and creates ‘frost marks" on the sides of the jar, when poured the wax into the jar. You need to clean your candle jars or moulds in order to avoid the candle from getting the shape. The moulds can also be clean with the use of box cutter that scraps the left over wax from the moulds. Sometimes, left over wax can be removed by heating the mould or by pouring hot wax into it.
